K-12 Solutions
Weidenhammer has extensive experience in the K–12 market. Since 1981, Weidenhammer has served the education community in the Mid-Atlantic and New England States, and recently expanded into the Midwest states. Today, the Education Solutions Division supports Information Design's alio Suite of Financial and Human Resource software. In addition, Weidenhammer develops and supports the CIMS Financial and Student software as well as supports its own Pennsylvania Financial Accounting Packages. Weidenhammer also partners with Pearson to support its web-based PowerSchool Premier Student Information System.
Weidenhammer currently supports nearly 1,500 school districts in more than 40 states. Schools supported by our team range in size from single-site schools with fewer than 500 students enrolled, to sites with more than 100 buildings and more than 70,000 students enrolled.

Weidenhammer’s association with the CIMS Student and Financial suite of products began in 1999 when Weidenhammer began supporting these products in the Northeast. Weidenhammer’s purchase of the CIMS Student and Financial products bolsters our vision of providing integrated finance and Student Information System solutions to our existing customers and to the education industry.
CIMS customers will benefit from our ongoing support and development of this excellent product suite. We remain committed to supporting and enhancing both products. Current CIMS clients will not experience any disruption in their support. You should continue to contact your current support hotline with any questions regarding the CIMS product.
Financial clients
While there currently is no end of life for the Financial products, we encourage you to learn more about alio, our full functioning, graphical financial software, deployed on an Oracle database. All current CIMS clients will be provided with an optional migration to this web-based product. Student clients
Like the Financial products, there is no end of life for the Student software. Weidenhammer’s continued partnership with Pearson, however, leaves the door open for CIMS Student clients to migrate to the PowerSchool software, Pearson’s web-based Student Information System. School Business Management Solutions
Today, Weidenhammer supports CIMS Financial software as well as its own Weidenhammer Financial offerings. For both products, our services begin with pre-sales consulting, continues with installation and then ends with our on-going support provided by certified Client Support Representatives.
In early 1997, Weidenhammer became a Certified Business Associate of Pearson, the nation’s largest single provider of student, curriculum, instructional management, and financial management software and services to K–12 education. Today Weidenhammer Application Specialists provide PowerSchool support and services including on-site training, consulting and telephone support for our clients in the K–12 marketplace throughout the Northeast and Midwest. When requested, our specialists facilitate User Group meetings in the states that we support.
Weidenhammer has developed a variety of add-on programs that interface with PowerSchool. Our clients select our add-on products because they specifically work with PowerSchool, and because Weidenhammer is the name they have come to trust when looking for education solutions.
Edustructures offers SIFWorks, a zone integration server that allows for student data synchronization between your applications. This product allows districts to share student and school information, transportation and geographic information, library information, as well as food service information.
